I'm Free!

At last, my training has come to an end. 3 months of waking up so early, walking to endless banks, obeying every single orders...ahhh! Such a nice feeling it's over! Thank God for giving me patience to cope with all I've been through.

When i first joined, I was in such bad shape that every night when i reached home, I was really moody. I was treated like an office girl, photostating and faxing documents away to glory. Walking to Public Bank, CIMB Bank, Maybank, Standard Charted Back, OCBC Bank, Silk Air office, Tun Jugah Jee Kwong (just because the tauke always purchase ticket from us), even HASIL to renew Trade License for my company. At first I'm really pissed. But day after day, i realized that it's nice to get out of office to get some fresh air. To forget bout office for awhile.

Just about 2 weeks of that, my boss started to give me proper tasks. Like writting letters to agents and visa embassies, preparing powerpoint presentations on various countries, picking up phone calls, consulting customers, checking tour packages...and so on. This is the training i should be getting. Oh ya, my working hours were from 8.30 am to 6.15 pm with an hour break in between. It was freaking long and draggy. Doing all these new tasks doesn't mean i'm not the same old office girl again. But day after day, I'm used to it. Emotionally, i got better and adapting to it.

Just 2 weeks before ending my training, my colleagues started to be really good to me. Buying me food and teaching me more things. I'm bonded and got closer with them. The last day, i bought all of them gifts and they were all surprised and feeling so bad. Eheh a colleague gave me a gift and a few of them treated me meals. It was really sweet.

Generally, i've learnt a lot in this 3 months. I believe it has shaped me into a better person. Thank God for everything, really.
Well i'm suppose to post this up like, a month ago but...i was way too busy with so many things and my laziness is to be blamed as well. :P
Merry Christmas everyone and a Happy New Year with many happy returns!

Prom Night (2007)

This took part last year, in Kuching Park. =] I was one of the organising committee. At Inti, i'm one of the student council, known as Intima. Basically, Intima organise activities for Inti students, and play the role as the link between student and management. Ahh enough said. Teehee and Prom Night is an anual event.
We planned months and months before the actual event, but it did not turn out well due to poor communication among us, sad to say. The main fault that really spoiled the night was due to technical problem. We did our rehearsal with 3 microphones, and on the night itself, only 1 microphone functioning. It has nothing to do with us technically, but the hotel. However, we enjoyed our time together planning such and it has definitely been a challenging experience to organise a major event when you do not have a clue. :)

My role for the night was to be Emcee, together with Desmond. We sucked, but we learnt from mistakes. Hehe let's get to the pictures ya:

Months of endless meetings, unfinished planning, headaches, and the list goes on...

That was our mini stage. Hee luckily it did not collapse when Des and I stand on it.

After checking that everything was OK at the venue, Ting, Ai Chen and me went to change our gowns. We rent our gowns, make-up and hair-do from Great Wall. It was pretty expensive, rm180 per person after discount. Yet one of the owners knows Ai Chen's mum. Hee

Gorgeous Ah Ting

Pretty little Ai Chen

Me. =)

Committee members :)

We were practically reading scripts the whole night, when we were suppose to be natural and spontaneous. Oh well... :P

Food :D

Two of the performances of the night

Games in between...

Ballroom dance by Intima. It is a must for each batch though. =/

So we came up with four pairs:

Vincent + Ai Chen

Yi Ting + Kelvin

Maria + Steven

Me + Desmond

We wanted the crowd to dance along with us after a few round, but poor responses from them. Hpmf.

Nominees for Prom Queen and Prom King
Unfortunately, I do not have the Prom King and Prom Queen's picture. :P

One of the best part that night was my childhood friends all attended the Prom Night! I am really thankful and happy they came. Laura and Lovena came too. It was very nice of you guys =)

After a tiring night, we booked a room at the hotel itself and stayed overnight. We were happy it's over, and sad it didn't turn out so good. Nevertheless, it sure was a great experience to gain, as i have mentioned earlier on.

Back in hotel room, i took pictures with two of my companion inside intima...=)

Melia's Birthday (2007)

My beloved's birthday! :D As usual, we went for dinner first, drinks after and sleepover to end a wonderful night.

Here are some pictures we took:

The Birthday Girl and me...goodness, will i ever be thin? =/

Me and Veron :P

That makes 3 of us =)

Pauline, Phang and VIP for the night

A Family Portrait :)

After Starbucks at Kuching International Airport (KIA), we went back to Vero's house. Told ya we love sleepovers there. Teehee

We specially prepared a cake for her. All we did was just decorate the cake with Smarties by arranging her name on it. :D Look at how her smile reflects happiness?

Aren't we lovely? By the way, Phang u really looked cute here. Hehehee

Special People who Celebrates my Birthday...(2007)

Happy 19th Birthday to me! Hahaha that happened last year, April 30th to be exact. ;) I never failed to celebrate my birthday with my childhood friends, namely Amelia, Vero, Phang & Pauline. We have been bonded together since I was 8 years old; Phang, since i was 11 years old. I believe, not many people get hold of their friendship as ours. =)

After a birthday dinner, drinks, and birthday-present-opening-session, we went back to Vero's house for a sleepover. They surprised me with a cake! Let me show you :

Tada! Isn't that lovely?

Happy Birthday to Claire!

Chop chop chop!

Bed time :) Vero's room sure is cozy-comfy! We just simply love sleepovers at her house.

We had a brilliant night indeed. =) Thank you, you guys!

Happiness

Blessed and fortunate me... =)

Sabah Trip (July 2007)

My second tourism trip! =) It was indeed a really enjoyable and fun trip. Actually every trips were always filled with fun. TeeHee!

Always the 3 of us. Hehe at Sabah souvenir centre.

The famous Tun Mustapha Tower.

A temple, which i cannot recall the name of it. Ting, Ai chen, Annie and me. Hee :P

Known as Sabah's Coffee Museum, it is just plain 'Kaya n Toast' which we have in Kuching here. What is different is the coffee, it tasted normal but served in a tall bottle. In the picture there's Ai Chen, me, Ting, Melissa, Faith and Annie.

Mount Kinabalu, and all of us. =)

Pine Resort. We had our lunch here, and it's really a beautiful resort surrounded by pine trees.

Sabah's Hot Spring and Canopy Walkway. The Canopy Walkway is divided into 3 stages of difficulty. Hmm it seems pretty similar. From the bottom to the hill where the Canopy Walkway starts, it was really, really a long long walk of stairs. It was exhausting!

Manukan Island =) It's really beautiful! We went there using a speedboat, takes about 20 minutes. Once reaching, there was a group of people promoting all the water sports. We played the banana boat and yeah, it was awesome! After that, we got back to the shore, and went for a snorkel in the sea. We had a seafood bbq buffet for lunch. It was damn worth it! After lunch, we headed back to the Jetty.

On one of the evening, we went for a River Cruise. Along the way, we saw Probosis Monkeys, a rare species found only in the Land of Borneo. We had our dinner at one of the floating restaurants. On the way back, it was total darkness. Putting aside fears, we get to see natural christmas tree lightings lighted up by all the fireflies found all around the forest, which is the best part of the whole journey. It was definitely breathtaking. This River Cruise is a must when you want to visit Sabah! You get to witness the greatest creation of our Mighty God and be overwhelm by it. =D

In conclusion, I will definitely visit Sabah one day again. It is a very nice and attractive place. :)
